The Will Update

Christine is still experiencing High Blood Pressure and still in the hospital. Little Will took a step backwards last night. They had to increase his oxygen, he couldn’t quite tolerate the lower lever. His lungs are not quite as good as the second set of x-rays but still better than the first. His little feet and hands were cold and a little purple, plus he was turning a little yellow, so they have him back underneath the light to get rid of the jaundice and hopefully the new oxygen level will help his circulation. He is moving quite a bit, even though he is supposed to be sedated and resting. We still believe God that everything will be fine, just a little more time on the respirator and in the incubator. The ICU nurses are getting used to seeing me come in at all hours of the day and night to check on him and I believe he is getting good care. I am hopeful the next update will be more positive. Keep Praying!

Thank you for all of your support.

Brother Devonshire,

We are praying for the little guy and your wife. The Lord has His Hand upon the situation and we too believe that all will be fine.

With our new daughter I am learning first-hand just how heart wrenching it can be to see your own child suffering or in pain and all you can do is pray and trust the Lord to help the situation.

Little Alyvia has what appears to be stomach pain and trouble keeping her food down quite a bit. Last night she seemed to be in pain and discomfort from 8pm (yes - church time) until after 2am.

I realize this is not at all on the same level as what you and Sister are facing; but the sense of not being able to "fix" the problem as quickly and efficiently as we would like to proves us to be mere men in need of our Loving and Compassionate Omnipotent Lord.

Praise God that these days won't last forever and by faith better times are on the horizon.

Hello Rev. Devonshire,
My name is Katie. I am Angela's sister. I just wanted to let you know that I stood in for prayer for William at my church last night. I am believing with you that God will touch him and help him grow stronger every day. My youngest son Daniel was also born premature and his lungs were underdeveloped, like William. Be encouraged, because Daniel is 17 now, and is a whopping 6'3" and 220lbs! My church and I will continue to pray for your family.

Bro. Brill,

I guess we will both be learning alot, and alot of learning how to lean.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

May the Lord bless you and your family.

Katie: Wow! Good to hear how far he has come. Although my son is forbidden to pass the 6'1" 195 lbs mark. (that is where I am) :-)
